Dr. Makhija brings world-class vascular and cardiac care to the DFW community as a lead specialist at Vascular and Cardiac Institute. Board-certified and extensively published, she specializes in treating the most un-treatable vascular and cardiac conditions using cutting-edge, minimally invasive techniques. After years of refining her skills in Manhattan’s high-volume medical landscape, she now provides sophisticated expertise in advanced limb salvage and comprehensive vascular and cardiac health care here in the DFW community.
Building on her experience in the nation’s premier medical hubs—from Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles to the Mount Sinai in Manhattan—Dr. Mak is proud to serve the DFW community with a personalized, patient-centered model. By operating independently across multiple hospital systems, she maintains the flexibility to prioritize her patients' preferences over institutional protocols. Her philosophy is built on education and transparency, ensuring every patient is an informed partner in their own recovery.
Beyond the clinic, her commitment to healing extends globally through international medical missions to Honduras, where she treats advanced vascular disease in underserved communities. Whether addressing peripheral arterial disease to salvage limbs or complex coronary issues, Dr. Mak provides academic-level precision with one goal: helping patients recover faster and return to their daily lives with confidence.
